You can use a non-expired ID from another state if you don’t have a Connecticut state-issued ID, but you’ll be required to provide other proof of residency, such as a bill, paystub, or Medicaid statement.

The proof of residency must be dated within the last 90 days, be computer generated (not typed), and show your name and Connecticut address. For a full list of documents needed for a Connecticut medical marijuana card, see the Department of Consumer Protection’s medical marijuana program website.
