Because cannabis is still considered a Schedule I drug under federal law, physicians aren’t able to technically “prescribe” cannabis for your condition(s) or symptom(s). However, because of Prop 215, they’re able to issue “recommendations” that a patient use medical cannabis for their condition(s) or symptom(s).
