In Nevada, medical marijuana patients are allowed to grow cannabis plants, but only under specific circumstances. If you live more than 25 miles from a licensed dispensary, you may cultivate your own. The law permits up to six plants per person, with a maximum of twelve plants per household if two patients live at the same property.
If you live within 25 miles of a dispensary, home cultivation is generally not permitted unless you qualify for special exceptions (such as medical necessity or lack of access to certain strains).
