Can I use my MMJ card in other states? - Texas

Probably not. Texas has a unique medical marijuana program that only permits low-THC cannabis. The state also doesn't have physical medical marijuana ID cards and relies on a statewide prescription database to identify patients instead. As a result, there probably wouldn’t be equivalency with another state’s program or a way to provide identification. Reciprocity depends on the state that a patient is visiting, however, so check with the state you plan to visit.
