In Texas, patients do not receive medical marijuana cards at all. Instead, your physician enters your prescription directly into the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas (CURT). Because there is no card system, there’s nothing for patients to “renew.”
The certification or "prescription" is valid for 1 year.
