If a Maryland resident suffers from one of the following chronic/debilitating medical conditions, they may be issued an MMJ certification:
Cachexia,
Anorexia,
Wasting syndrome,
Severe or chronic pain,
Severe nausea,
Seizures,
Severe or persistent muscle spasms,
Glaucoma,
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),
or another chronic medical condition causes severe distress and for which other treatments have been ineffective.
